When Natalie Evans’ young son went out to their backyard in Texas, he was met by an incredible sight.
To his amazement, a squirrel appeared to be drowning in their inflatable hot tub. He immediately rushed to get his mom, and together they rescued the animal using a rake.
Once out of the water, the squirrel was exhausted and even fell back into the hot tub. So, after fishing it out again, they wrapped it in a towel and put it in a container to rest.
With some TLC and a diet of walnuts, they eventually managed to nurse the squirrel back to health before returning it to the wild.
